Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description

The LPN/LVN provides nursing care to terminally ill patients in the VITAS program, adhering to state regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Administering skilled bedside nursing care and evaluating patient/family needs.
• Assisting in the interdisciplinary care plan and performing treatments under RN supervision.
• Monitoring patient reactions, documenting findings, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Establishing therapeutic relationships and participating in patient/family education.
• Engaging in professional growth and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications include a nursing license, one year of relevant experience, and the ability to meet physical demands of the role.
