> REF:#38faa003f02d4438Job Summary: The Psychologist will evaluate inmates/detainees/residents for mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, providing diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, providing psychotherapy, monitoring medication compliance, and training staff on suicide risk factors and crisis intervention techniques. The role also involves administrative duties, such as maintaining accurate records and consulting with medical professionals.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a PhD or PsyD in Psychology, a current state license, and preferably two years of correctional work experience.
