Physical Therapist Assistant (Full-Time) – Atmore Nursing Home

Job Description

This position involves providing therapy to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include treating patients with respect, motivating them to participate in therapy, and using creative interventions tailored to their needs. The role requires participation in an interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs and document progress accurately.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Valid state license and at least one year of clinical experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
• Computer proficiency, including familiarity with internet and email.
