Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant experience
• Certification from a recognized organization (AAMA, NHA, NCCT, or AMT)
• One year of outpatient experience preferred
• BLS or ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver’s license for float positions

Duties include:

• Rooming patients and performing vital signs
• Preparing exam rooms and assisting in procedures
• Documenting lab results and managing patient communications
• Administering injections and vaccinations
• Scheduling diagnostic tests and making referrals

Regular attendance and completion of assigned tasks are essential. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
