The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care tailored to individual patient needs, adhering to the Illinois Nurse Practice Act, and managing daily office operations. This role involves coordinating patient care by collaborating with various healthcare team members and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nursing assessments and document findings.
Obtain and document medical information and vital signs.
Advocate for patients and address service complaints.
Evaluate referral needs to other healthcare providers.
Provide patient education on health maintenance and procedures.
Administer treatments, medications, and perform various medical procedures.
Support patients and families emotionally and serve as a resource for nursing staff.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while adhering to clinic policies.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with an ADN, diploma, or BSN.
Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification required.
The position requires a balance of sitting and standing, with minimal lifting, in an office environment.
