Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. This managerial role involves overseeing nursing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. The DON will set departmental goals, guide staffing procedures, and enforce policies to maintain high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and evaluate nursing personnel
• Guide staffing procedures
• Set objectives for the nursing department
• Control budgets and monitor expenditures

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of employment
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a nursing facility
• Ability to work with administrators to ensure quality care
• Problem-solving aptitude

Education: Associate’s Degree

Experience: Entry Level (0-2 years)
