Registered Nurse (RN) needed for Private Duty Nursing (PDN) In Middle Island (LI, NY)

Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, with alternating weekends.

Summary: The RN provides nursing care to clients in their homes or facilities, following agency policies under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved RN program
• NYS Licensed RN with home health or long-term care experience
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities:

• Follow care plans and administer medications
• Monitor client conditions and document care
• Assist with self-care techniques and provide direct client care

Work Environment: Client homes, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities.
