Job Summary: The Surgical Technologist II in the Operating Room provides safe and effective patient care under the direction of an RN. Responsibilities include room setup, maintaining sterile technique, assisting the surgeon, and ensuring proper counts of instruments and materials. The role requires competency in caring for patients of all ages and involves assisting with efficient room turnover post-surgery.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist or LPN program
• Preferred experience: over six months as an LPN or ORT

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid surgical tech certification or LPN licensure preferred
• AHA BLS certification required

Work Requirements:

• Weekends: Rotating
