Registered Nurse, IMC Step-Down/ Cardiac Unit – PRN

Job Description

The IMC Step-Down/Cardiac Unit is a 36-bed facility focused on cardiac care for post-operative patients, including those recovering from CABG, heart caths, and valve replacements. The unit also accommodates general medical-surgical patients with cardiac histories requiring telemetry monitoring and critical cardiac drips.

Registered Professional Nurses are responsible for patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They also supervise ancillary nursing staff and ensure professional nursing standards are met.

• Education: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing.
• Experience: Six months preferred.
• Licenses: Current Texas nursing license, AHA BLS, ACLS, and Arrhythmia Recognition Course within specified timeframes.
