> REF:#c6c0d119be7fafd3The Athletic Trainer position involves working in CT Orthopaedics clinics and occasionally in schools, focusing on ergonomic job analysis, patient treatment for work conditioning, and developing physical demands assessments.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct ergonomic job analyses and maintain Physical Demand Assessments.
- Implement exercise programs, including Work Conditioning for new hires.
- Monitor the Industrial Athlete Program and suggest improvements.
- Treat and rehabilitate athletes, conduct pre-season screenings, and administer first aid.
- Educate athletes and coaching staff on training techniques.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
- Effective decision-making and teamwork abilities.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
- Connecticut Athletic Trainer license required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
