CRT, Certified Respiratory Therapist – Texarkana – PRN

Job Description

Summary:
Responsible for the pulmonary care of critical, non-critical, and chronically ill patients of all ages under physician supervision. Performs technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures throughout the hospital, conducts patient assessments, and develops respiratory care plans.

Responsibilities:
• Emergency response (Code Blue and White)
• Airway management and suctioning
• Delivery of aerosolized drugs
• Ventilator management
• Oxygen delivery and monitoring
• Blood gas collection and analysis
• Documentation and equipment maintenance
• May serve as Shift or Team Leader
• Advanced skills include pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopy assist.

Requirements:
• RCP License, BLS, CRT, and ACLS required
• 2-3 years of experience preferred
• 12-hour shifts, per diem as needed.
