The role involves providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients while supervising therapy assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients’ therapeutic and functional status and developing care plans.
- Directing treatment, instructing patients and caregivers on therapeutic appliances, and reporting patient progress to physicians.
- Participating in discharge planning and maintaining communication with the care team.
- Supervising therapy assistants and adhering to company policies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license and two years of clinical experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with computer proficiency.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and CPR certification for outpatient roles.
