CRNA-Nurse Anesthetist (0.75 FTE) (DH5406)

Job Description

This position in the Anesthesia Department requires a qualified Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesiology services as part of the Operating Room team. Preference in hiring is given to enrolled members of the Navajo Nation, Hopi Tribe, or San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe, followed by spouses and other federally-recognized tribes.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Completion of an AANA-approved Nurse Anesthetist training program.
• Valid nursing license and AANA certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; ATLS required within one year.

Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients and manage anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-operative care and pain management.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
