A Certified Medical Dosimetrist is needed for on-site radiation oncology services at the Tibor Rubin VAMC in Long Beach, CA. The role involves:

• Performing medical dosimetry functions under the direction of a VA Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.
• Conducting treatment planning for various radiation therapy modalities.
• Designing treatment plans and considering dose-limiting structures.
• Assisting with treatment simulations and the fabrication of treatment devices.
• Providing dosimetry support and ensuring quality assurance of radiation therapy equipment.
