Fairview Health Services is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank in Minneapolis, MN, offering a $9,000 sign-on bonus. The role involves providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages, ensuring safety and welfare during treatments. The position is part-time (0.6 FTE), with 12-hour night shifts and weekend rotations, including shift differentials of $4.00/hr for nights and $2.00/hr for weekends.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient needs and expected outcomes.
  • Implementing respiratory interventions.
  • Evaluating patient responses to care.
  • Operating respiratory care equipment.

    • Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy.
  • Respiratory Therapist License from Minnesota.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (new graduates must obtain within one year).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy.
