Position: Director of Nursing, Marshalltown Hospital

Overview: This full-time role involves strategic and operational leadership in clinical nursing, overseeing patient care delivery, financial performance, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Director collaborates with medical staff to enhance clinical outcomes and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage nursing staff, including hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and coordinate staff education and training.
• Resolve patient complaints and conduct daily safety huddles.
• Assist in developing individualized care plans and ensure patient safety.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and review quality reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Nursing; Master’s preferred.
• Three years of experience as a House Supervisor or Nurse Manager.
• Current Iowa nursing license.
