This role involves performing respiratory therapy procedures as per protocols and physician orders to enhance the cardiopulmonary health of patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics. Clinical Respiratory Therapists primarily work in critical care, adult, and pediatric general care settings, and may also provide care at secondary sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of all ages.
- Document patient records and stay updated on technological advancements in respiratory care.
- Ensure a positive patient experience through effective communication and service recovery when needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in respiratory care, preferably in critical care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and ability to obtain a Nevada Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- Current AHA BLS certification; ACLS & PALS required within 6 months.
