Job Description

A community-based hospice is seeking a Per Diem Weekend Nurse to join its On-Call team, requiring weekend availability and travel to patient homes and facilities in Greater Boston and Metrowest. The role involves making home and hospital visits, evaluating new patients, coordinating care, and providing education on end-of-life issues.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts; Bachelor’s preferred
• 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in hospice
• Knowledgeable about end-of-life issues and diverse patient needs
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Proficient in electronic documentation and mobile technologies
