Registered Nurse Per Diem

Job Description

As a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide nursing care to children in the Subacute program, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required to act as a Licensed Child Emergency Safety Intervention Specialist (LCESIS).

Essential duties include:

• Completing medical admissions and providing routine healthcare.
• Managing medications and overseeing emergency care.
• Acting as a medical resource for children and families.
• Preparing discharge prescriptions and instructions.
• Conducting phlebotomy and medication audits.
• Supervising children to maintain safety and participating in activities.

Physical demands include crisis intervention and lifting up to 50 pounds. Previous mental health experience is preferred.
