Job Description

Position Title: Ambulatory Clinic RN-Resource Nurse (Family Medicine)

Position Summary: The Resource Nurse works Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing support to nursing staff by filling in during breaks, offering guidance to new nurses, and performing triage and prior authorizations. Responsibilities include managing message pools, contacting patients for lab results, and scheduling appointments. Strong communication, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Maintain a safe environment and provide patient education.
• Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
• Participate in the Patient Centered Medical Home Team.

Education and Experience:

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing and High School Graduate.
• Preferred: 1+ years of healthcare experience.

Licensure: Licensed Registered Nurse (Single or Multi-State) and CPR/BLS certification required.
