Job Summary: The Step Down Unit (SDU) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides care for patients who require more monitoring than a medical-surgical unit but do not need intensive care. The unit has a 3-5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and handles a variety of cases, including those experiencing alcohol and drug withdrawal.

Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree within three years. Preferred experience includes five years of clinical and one year of charge nurse experience. Must have an active RN license in Missouri, BLS within 90 days, and ACLS within one year.

Schedule: Full-time night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM.
