Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

The Physical Therapist’s Assistant is responsible for delivering prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients, both in medical facilities and at home, under the supervision of a physical therapist. Key duties include:

• Administering various therapeutic treatments such as exercise, massage, and electrical therapies.
• Instructing patients on mobility improvement and the use of assistive devices.
• Observing patient progress and documenting treatment responses.
• Providing clinical direction to therapy staff and maintaining necessary records.
• Assisting with equipment maintenance and inservice education programs.

Qualifications include an associate degree in physical therapy, current licensure, and preferably one year of experience. The position is full-time with evening shifts and offers various benefits.
