Staff Nurse – Acute Care

Job Description

Position Summary: Seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Acute Care department at Cascade Valley Hospital, working variable night shifts. The role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and offers a competitive wage of $38.45 to $72.75 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care through the nursing process, ensuring quality service and safety.
• Participate in infection control, quality improvement, and compliance with HIPAA and corporate policies.
• Perform bedside assessments, administer treatments, and engage in discharge planning.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and maintain effective communication.

Qualifications:

• RN license in Washington State; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; PALS or PEARS within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Physical Demands: The role requires active engagement, including lifting patients and standing for extended periods.
