Job Description

The Clinical Optometrist position at TCRHCC involves providing comprehensive eye care to patients at the Tuba City and Sacred Peaks facilities. Preference in hiring is given to enrolled members of the Navajo Nation, Hopi Tribe, or San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe, followed by spouses of members and other federally-recognized tribes.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) and therapeutic pharmaceutical license required.
• Must have completed an accredited optometry residency and hold a current, unrestricted optometry license.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat visual and ocular disorders.
• Provide emergency eye care and refer patients as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with health guidelines.
