Job Description

Position Summary: The Special Procedures Technician performs technical and interventional radiographic assignments, utilizing advanced skills and knowledge in radiologic technology. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic radiographic interventional studies, specialized procedures like angiograms and biopsies, and ensuring quality assurance and patient flow. Infection control practices are followed, and the technician works with patients of all ages.

Qualifications:

• Education: AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an AMA-approved 2-year program.
• License: NYS license required.
• Certifications: Preferred interventional certification through AART.
• Experience: Minimum of 24 months in radiology; preferred one year in Interventional Radiology.
• Skills: Must maintain CEC, handle confidential information, manage priorities, and possess computer literacy.

Salary: $38.75-$44.99

Schedule: Full Time, Days
