Position: Restorative Nurse (RN or LPN)
Summary: The Restorative Nurse oversees the restorative nursing program, acting as a liaison between therapy and nursing while promoting a restorative philosophy across departments.
Essential Duties:
Develop and implement nursing care standards and policies.
Evaluate patient care and nursing practices through daily rounds.
Conduct rehabilitation assessments for new and existing patients.
Collaborate with nursing staff to create and monitor restorative care plans.
Ensure proper documentation and oversee incontinent management programs.
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of restorative nursing experience required.
Current nursing registration and CPR certification required.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25 pounds, cope with stress, and work with diverse patient needs.
