The RN practices autonomously within professional standards and state regulations, delivering age-appropriate care and delegating tasks to the nursing team as needed. Key responsibilities include performing assessments, documenting in electronic systems, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The RN must maintain clinical knowledge, demonstrate critical thinking, and serve as a mentor and resource for peers and students. Requirements include an Associates degree in Nursing, valid RN licensure, and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP). This full-time position involves day shifts with rotating weekends.
