Position Summary: The Staff Physical Therapist, reporting to the Rehabilitation Therapies Supervisor/Manager, conducts assessments and implements physical therapy treatments for in and outpatients to enhance mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function. The role involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals for follow-up care and patient education, as well as student training and continuous education participation.
Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
Implement individual and group therapy sessions, demonstrating clinical competence.
Ensure compliance with departmental and institutional standards.
Engage in professional development and contribute to program evaluation.
Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care.
Supervise physical therapy students and orient staff to therapy practices.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors/Masters in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current Massachusetts license and CPR certification required.
New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are essential.
