Organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability due to disease, injury, or loss of a body part. Plans therapy using physical exercise, massage, heat, and water, while utilizing mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as prosthetic and orthotic devices. Evaluates and reports on patient progress.
Requirements:
- CPR certification and TX LICENSE in Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Speech Language Pathology.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program; Master’s preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in acute, rehab, and/or outpatient care.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of basic therapy practices.
