Summary:
A Registered Professional Nurse (RN) delivers patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN also prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates patient teaching and ancillary nursing activities while upholding professional standards. Direct and indirect patient care is provided.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Experience: Preferred six months, with critical care/emergency department experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in Louisiana, BLS within two weeks, PALS and ACLS within 12 weeks (or 6 months for new grads), and de-escalation training within 90 days.
