Job Description

Jupiter Medical Center seeks a qualified laboratory supervisor to oversee technical and non-technical personnel and daily operations. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science degree and a State of Florida Supervisor License, with at least 5 years of clinical laboratory experience. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising staff and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
• Managing scheduling, productivity, and inventory.
• Conducting training and competency assessments for new employees.
• Implementing safety programs and quality control measures.
• Monitoring departmental performance and resource utilization.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and maintaining records.
• Providing leadership and fostering team communication.

Additional duties may include phlebotomy and cross-training staff.
