Mental Health Practitioner – Weekend Shift

Job Description

Join a dedicated team focused on enhancing the mental and emotional well-being of individuals in the community as a Mental Health Practitioner in a 24-hour facility. You will provide care for clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assess client strengths and needs upon admission.
• Assist clients with independent living skills.
• Monitor and document clients’ physical and emotional status.
• Facilitate program activities and complete necessary paperwork.
• Respond to crises using appropriate techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• 1 year of experience with mental illness or substance use disorder.
• Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in MN.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
