This position, under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON), involves directing and coordinating nursing department operations to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities include daily evaluations of nursing care, advising charge nurses, and assisting with administrative duties. The Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor will also provide coverage for charge nurses and support them during clinic days.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand medical records and nursing care plans
  • Effective communication with residents and healthcare professionals
  • Understanding of Catholic Health Care Directives

    • Experience:

  • Minimum two years of nursing management experience preferred
  • Experience in human resources and financial management preferred
  • Knowledge of geriatric drugs and treatment modalities

    • Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current RN licensure in Texas
  • BSN preferred
  • Certification in gerontological nursing required within one year
