A Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN also prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel while adhering to professional nursing standards. Direct and indirect patient care is provided.
Requirements:
- Education/Skills: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Experience: Six (6) months preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- AHA BLS Certification within 2 weeks.
- AHA ACLS Certification within 8 weeks.
- ENPC or PALS Certification within 12 months (18 months for new grads).
- TNCC Course within 12 months (18 months for new grads).
- Arrhythmia Recognition Course within 8 weeks.
Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
