Job Description

Position: Ground Paramedic
Location: Johnson County/Hill County

This role involves delivering high-quality emergency care to patients during transport. Key responsibilities include:

• Safely operating emergency vehicles per regulations.
• Maintaining medical equipment and performing vehicle checks.
• Assisting in patient loading/unloading for air transport.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Documenting patient conditions and care provided.
• Participating in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Supporting co-workers and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Texas EMT-Paramedic certification and relevant life support certifications.
• 2 years of EMS experience preferred.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, stand, and work in a fast-paced environment. Pay ranges from $55,000 to $75,000 annually.
