A Board Certified Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist is needed for on-site radiation oncology services at the Tibor Rubin VAMC in Long Beach, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced radiation treatment modalities in line with ACR criteria.
Participate in peer review conferences regarding treatment decisions.
Oversee all physics and dosimetry operations.
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Medical Physics or Therapeutic Medical Physics.
At least five years of post-board experience and three years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Varian Linear Accelerators, IGRT, Eclipse treatment planning, and QA procedures.
Benefits:
W2 pay packages or 1099 option, with a pay rate of $185/hr.
