Lead Radiation Therapist

Job Description

The Lead Radiation Therapist collaborates with the Radiation Oncology Manager to manage the department, ensuring quality control of treatments and supervising staff. Responsibilities include developing departmental programs, policies, and procedures, as well as training and mentoring staff and students. Candidates must have a degree from an accredited radiation therapy program, be licensed in West Virginia, and have at least five years of clinical experience. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of Varian linear accelerators. Strong technical, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
