> REF:#4fe5a64510aa88f9Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide leadership and direction to care team members, assess patient needs, collaborate on care plans, and educate patients and families. The RN will ensure patient safety, manage pain, and facilitate discharge planning while delivering exceptional customer service aligned with the organization’s values.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in cost containment and support patient flow.
- Communicate professionally with patients and families.
- Monitor patients pre- and post-surgery, including ECG readings.
- Administer medications and IV drips, modifying care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for safe patient care.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic records.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an NLN accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in Michigan and BLS certification required.
- Preferred: 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
Working Conditions: Full-time position, 7:00 PM – 7:12 AM, weekends required. Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting.
Compensation: $34.00 – $45.58 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.
