Job Summary: The role involves providing primary and episodic care to patients, both independently and in collaboration with medical professionals, adhering to protocols set by the Chief Medical Officer or Supervising Physician. The position emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention through patient education and care coordination.
General Accountabilities:
Ensure smooth patient flow and efficient care delivery.
Conduct comprehensive physical exams and assessments.
Order and perform necessary tests and procedures.
Document and define differential diagnoses.
Collaborate with supervising physician for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Prescribe medications and instruct patients on usage.
Maintain quality and safety standards.
Utilize computer software for accurate data management.
Job Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Board certified nurse practitioner with current state licensure and DEA license.
Clinical experience in emergency, urgent care, or ambulatory settings.
BLS certification required.
Environmental and Physical Requirements:
Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
Physical ability for long-term standing and lifting.
Exposure to blood, chemicals, and infectious diseases.
