Job Description

Position: CVD Echosonography Tech
Location: Waukesha
Job Type: Days – 1st Shift, .9 FTE (36 hours/week)
Schedule: Varying start times (7am-9am), one day off per pay period, call coverage (1 night/week, weekend and holiday rotation)

Responsibilities:

• Perform noninvasive cardiovascular diagnostic tests.
• Utilize cognitive sonographic skills to adapt procedures based on patient anatomy and pathology.
• Analyze sonograms and communicate findings to physicians.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Registry (RDCS or RCS) eligible within six months of training completion.
• Preferred: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography License and ACLS certification.
