Summary:
Organizes and coordinates activities such as sports, arts, and social events to enhance patients’ physical, mental, and social well-being. Prepares progress reports and adjusts programs based on patient needs. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist license. FLSA Status: Non-exempt.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Recreational Therapy within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Execute treatment plans and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

    • Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Recreation or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Therapeutic Recreation.
  • Certification as a CTRS or equivalent, and CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
