Job Description

The Medical Technologist II is responsible for performing moderate to highly complex testing to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment. Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating knowledge of clinical procedures and critical thinking skills.
• Operating and maintaining complex scientific equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality control.
• Assuming charge responsibilities, monitoring workflow, and providing support to medical personnel.
• Conducting direct patient contact procedures, including phlebotomy and assisting with bone marrow collections.
• Supporting a self-directed team environment and providing training to new staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or military training, with certification preferred but not mandatory. The position is full-time, night shift, with rotating weekends.
