Job Description

Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Position Summary: The Mammography Technologist operates radiologic equipment to perform and interpret mammography exams, Dexa procedures, and general x-rays, providing necessary information and images to radiologists. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for procedures.
• Explain procedures to alleviate patient anxiety.
• Adjust equipment for optimal imaging.
• Practice radiation protection techniques.
• Process and review images for quality control.
• Maintain radiologic equipment and perform administrative tasks.
• Assist with interventional procedures and perform various imaging tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• MRTBE (CMT & CRT) and ARRT certification in Mammography.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
