> REF:#3ba0e1a23349f9edWe are seeking a full-time MDS Coordinator, requiring an experienced licensed practical or registered nurse. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the admission process and assessing nursing needs.
- Determining Resource Utilization Groups (RUGs) and associated expenses.
- Reviewing admission applications and conducting assessments.
- Ensuring accuracy in the MDS process for all residents.
- Maintaining knowledge of Medicare criteria and communicating regulatory changes.
- Monitoring Case Mix Index (CMI) scores and Medicaid reimbursement risks.
- Facilitating problem-solving for complex admissions.
- Overseeing Medicare assessment schedules and nursing documentation.
Pay starts at $25.00 per hour, with benefits including 401(k) matching, health insurance, and paid time off. An associate degree and 2 years of MDS experience are preferred, along with a Compact State Nurse License. Work is in-person during day shifts.
