Physician Assistant

Job Description

Under general supervision, the Physician Assistant provides independent acute and routine medical care to a designated patient population and may supervise support staff.

Requirements:

• Medical license from Idaho and NCCPA certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and DEA registration needed.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of primary care experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic patient issues.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise patient care staff and maintain quality assurance.
• Document patient records accurately and educate patients on health matters.
• Participate in staff training and quality improvement activities.
