The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide leadership and direction to care team members, assess patient needs, collaborate on care plans, educate patients and families, manage pain, ensure patient safety, and plan for discharge. The RN will support patients throughout their hospital stay while adhering to the organization’s standards of care.
Responsibilities:
– Contribute to organizational success and cost containment.
– Communicate professionally with patients and families.
– Perform ongoing assessments and develop care plans.
– Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
– Administer medications and document care accurately.
– Participate in quality management and maintain knowledge of nursing practices.
Qualifications:
– Graduation from an NLN accredited nursing school.
– Current RN license in Michigan and BLS certification required.
– Preferred: 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
– Strong communication and clinical skills.
Working Conditions:
– Full-time position, 7:00 PM – 7:12 AM, weekends required.
– Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting.
Compensation:
– Pay range: $34.00 – $45.58 per hour.
