Summary: Under the supervision of the Manager, this role involves performing diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures as ordered by physicians to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Address patient physical and emotional needs.
• Conduct MRI exams following established protocols.
• Screen patients and families entering the Imaging Center.
• Report patient changes to appropriate personnel.
• Transport patients within the Radiology Department.
• Provide exam-related information to customers.
• Document procedural information accurately.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control as per protocol.
• Ensure smooth operation of the MRI section.
• Administer contrast media as per protocols.
• May conduct point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Credentials: RT (MR) registered by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT.
• Education: High School Diploma required; 2-year degree in radiology preferred.
• Experience: Previous MRI experience preferred; commitment to patient satisfaction and service excellence.
