Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide therapy services to special needs students aged 5-21. The OTR will evaluate children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, maintain documentation, conduct assessments, and participate in team meetings and parent training.

• Essential Responsibilities:
• Administer services per IEP mandates
• Document evaluations and treatment progress
• Screen and evaluate children for service needs
• Prepare and update IEPs
• Delegate responsibilities to COTAs
• Requirements:
• B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy
• NYS License to practice
• Preferred: 2 years clinical experience, especially with developmental disabilities
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Pay: $70,000 – $78,000 per year

Location: In-person, Brooklyn, NY 11203. Relocation required before starting work.
