Recreation Worker

Job Description

The Recreation Worker is responsible for delivering therapeutic recreation programs aimed at enhancing patients’ physical, mental, and social well-being.

• Plans and organizes activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and social events based on patients’ needs and interests.
• Prepares reports on patients’ progress and collaborates with the rehabilitation team.
• Evaluates the recreation program and suggests improvements, manages budgets, and maintains equipment.
• Coordinates special events and outings for patients.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or a related field. This is a full-time position located in Harlan, KY, with various benefits offered.
