Job Description

Position Summary: The Paramedic is responsible for delivering quality pre-hospital care to patients of all ages, adhering to established standards by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security – EMS Division and the Parkview Health EMS Medical Director(s).

Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional post-high school education is desirable.

Licensure/Certification: Must meet Indiana State Paramedic guidelines, hold a valid state Paramedic certification/license, CPR, valid driver’s license, and ACLS certification.

Other Qualifications: One year of experience preferred. Must meet insurability requirements, possess excellent communication skills, and meet physical demands (able to lift 100 pounds and assist with 300 pounds).

Location: Parkview Health – EMS
Schedule: Full Time, Benefit Eligible, Nights, 3 days/week
